Has everyone who’s been criticizing Mr. Mayer about his recent Playboy Interview fiasco actually taken the time to sit down and read the WHOLE thing? It took me a good half an hour to forty five minutes to actually read the entire thing - Maybe I’m just a slow reader, but it wasn’t something you could finish in about ten minutes. It was a lengthy interview with heart, soul, truth, and guts behind it. John held nothing back. He was honest and vulnerable. Isn’t that something people should commend instead of criticize?

Who liked my post about John Mayer. He honestly deserves everyone’s support right now. I was actually fortunate enough to meet him after his performance in Tampa on Friday February 5th. He was NOTHING like he may seem on stage, in interviews, or on his twitter. He was the most reserved, humble, kind, and possibly even shy individual. He was nice enough to sign autographs and take photos with the few of us that patiently waited for him to exit the venue that night.

Really though… I can say from personal experience, he is what he says he is - Just a 32 year old who wants to play his guitar. And I’ll leave it at that.

Everyone needs to stop hating on John Mayer. He is entitled to his own opinion. He is above all humorous and an extremely talented individual that let’s his head get a little too big sometimes. Just chill the fuck out and leave the man alone.

All he wants to do is play his guitar. Let him be. Let him do that. Let him do what he loves to do without being criticized for what might or might not come out of his mouth, and that’s make music - Wonderful, beautiful, amazing, INCREDIBLE, meaningful music.
